We get to photograph a lot of amazing people, beautiful locations, and a lot of romance. Which is insanely amazing. We love sessions that are personal, unique, glamorous, or simple and sweet. Really we love engagement sessions in all of their forms. Jessica and Shereef were so much fun to plan with because they were SO excited about their session from the beginning. We tossed around a ton of ideas from a gorgeous beach session to a more relaxed and romantic lifestyle session at their house. As we asked them more questions about what they wanted they settled on carrying their NYE wedding celebration theme through their session and having a fun and romantic but glamorous engagement photo session.

When we suggested Ebell of Long Beach for their location we all agreed it would be a perfect fit (and a great choice because they has considered it for their wedding day but the logistics just didn’t work out). The space just begs for this type of photo session with a mix of amazing vintage furniture, a gorgeous bright hall, and spaces where light is everything. It was the perfect spot to show the diversity they were wanting and the type of diverse photos we love to be able to take!

Don’t get us wrong, we love our beautiful beach session, romantic and sweet home sessions, and everything in between. But, if you want to rent a gorgeous venue for a couple of hours and play with creativity and romance, we will definitely lean into it with you.
